Employment Tribunal Forms

Employment tribunal forms are official documents that individuals must complete when making a claim or responding to a claim in an employment tribunal. These forms vary depending on the type of claim being made, such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, or unpaid wages

ET1 Form: Claim Form

The ET1 is used by the employer to respond to a claim made in the ET1 form. You must include:

  • Employer’s details.

  • A response to each claim made by the employee.

  • Any defenses or counterclaims.

  • Additional evidence, if applicable.

ET3 Form: Employer's Response

This form is similarly connected to the response provided by the employer. The ET3 form is an official document used by employers to respond to a claim made against them in an employment tribunal. It is a crucial part of the employment tribunal process in the UK, allowing employers to present their defense to the claims filed by employees.

Application for Extension of Time

Extension of time is used to request an extension of the time limit for submitting an ET1 or ET3 form. This should include:

  • Reasons for the delay and justification for the request.

  • Details of the claim or response for which the extension is requested.
